Day 43, Memories

The fires surrounding Austin are completely eerie and really bring back memories of the landslide in San Francisco. There is nothing scarier than being evacuated from your home...your photos...your memories...and not knowing what will happen next. Yes it is just stuff, but some things are irreplaceable. When I was evacuated during the landslide I grabbed my nana's necklace, a couple of photos and Harley.

You just feel so helpless and lost until you can go *home* - I really feel for those that never will...only ashes remain.
