Birds Have Taken Over

In a short-lived attempt to prove I might be a great horticulturist in my next career I have filled my tiny backyard with about 20 plants. Recently, I was watering my geranium and there was so much grass in it... immediately blamed it on our lawn service. Not sure how or why but I thought they somehow got a huge clump of dead grass in my geranium.

So naturally I carefully watered the plant and tried to stay away from it when the parents were near until...

Four little birds were born...so now I have to maybe let my geranium die for a good cause. I caught this pic in between the birds being fed. They were all piled on top of each other in the nest. They are really growing so fast. The next photo is just a few days later...

Makes me think they may be gone soon and my geranium might survive. Unless this is a permanent home.
