Rooted in Succulents

For Mother's Day I wanted to get my mom something green. She'd been crazy for succulents lately so I was lucky to run across the Etsy store, Rooted in Succulents. The thought of buying a plant online was strange at first. But, the reviews were all positive so I took the plunge. Here's a look at the succulent cross I got for my mom.

It was more beautiful than I had imagined it would be. Wrapped perfectly for travel with priority shipping, I couldn't recommend this more for a gift...or for yourself. I still need to order myself one!

Day 50, Missoni Countdown

The buildup for the Missoni for Target Collection is reminding me a hint of an Apple product launch...for thrifty fashion girls. Wish me luck in getting my share! I plan on being up at 6 and hopefully the online store will still have something I like.

Ivy & Piper = Love

I was just introduced to a new magazine by Apartment Therapy. It has to be THE best magazine I have seen since Domino, which is saying a lot. Here is a link: http://issuu.com/ivyandpiper/docs/spring2010

I definitely want to try a few things from the magazine. The first is this floral arrangement in the corner. I have been trying to find something that would bring some color into my bedroom, which is mostly white with a chocolate brown velvet headboard.
